THE ILLUSTRATOR
Since 2010 I’ve worked with organisations and individuals creating cute, custom map designs and illustrations. To date I’ve designed over 1500 commissions including murals, site plans, area maps, marketing literature and event invitations.

Before life in cartography, I worked in Fashion PR, Advertising, TV & Theatre. Nowadays I share a beautiful studio with Rachel Baker Artist at Milton Keynes Arts Centre in the grounds of Linford Manor. The Cute Maps team includes freelancers and my family during busy periods.
​
Over the fourteen years away from my hometown Milton Keynes (MK) I lived in London, Glasgow and Manchester; but the more time I spent away from MK the more I found myself having to redress the old falsehoods associated with it. I am now back inside the MK grid, enjoying quaint village life in one of its twenty preserved old villages, amongst thatches and horse paddocks, yet in the middle of the city where singing delivery robots are ubiquitous and farm animals live next to John Lewis. So in an effort to champion this unique place I launched the Milton Keynes Cute Map, which developed into a gift collection and spurned further map collections of nearby areas. I was also honoured to work with MK Council on a design of Milton Keynes for our successful city bid sent to the Queen in 2022 and gifted to King Charles during his visit. This design is available in the gift collection.
