How does a Cute Map order work?

STEP 1:    Add your items to the shopping cart.

STEP 2:   Click 'Checkout' in the cart, select your chosen payment method and follow the on-screen instructions. Please note payment must be received in full before the design process can begin.

STEP 3:   On the final thank you page you will find links to the relevant order forms (note for paypal payments you may have to click the 'Return to Cute Maps' link on Paypal's 'Payment Completed' page). If you have ordered more than one item there is an opportunity to fill in multiple forms. These can also be filled in at a later date should you not have all the information to hand - they can be found on the link here or on the 'Order Form' link in the menu.
Important note on Cute Map design orders: It is important to include all design requests and locations on your order form. A second proof with small, reasonable amendments is free of charge. Shifting & rescaling of your Cute Map following the first proof involves an extensive redesign & so incurs a redesign fee. Lengthy design requests following the first proof also incur a redesign fee so please ensure you include all requests in your initial order form. For further info please refer to our T&Cs here

STEP 4:    Following payment and submission of your order form/s, your proof will be emailed to you within the timeframe mentioned on the product pages (for Cute Map/Path orders this is typically within 14 days, or 5 days fast track). At this point you can advise of any final tweaks. After any amendments are made, we will issue your final documents or send your Cute Map to print.

Do you ship to international countries?

Yes we do. Delivery Costs are £20 flat fee for unlimited amount of items.

Can I see my design before placing an order?

Its mainly the lengthy design times incorporated into the costs and so the design process begins when an order is placed and payment received. Take a good look around the gallery and product pages to get an idea of how your design will appear. We're also happy to post you an existing sample.

How much are your delivery charges?

UK Delivery - Free Delivery on orders of £50 and over
Standard Delivery £3.50

Delivery on Design Only orders is, of course, free as we send the final image to you by email:)

How long is the design process?

We advise you to order with us as far in advance as possible. Generally, we recommend at least five weeks before you aim to send out your invitation/map, but we can often accommodate Fast Track orders. Info and costs on Fast Track orders is detailed on each product page and involves a proof within 5 days rather than the standard 14 days. Fast Track orders generally half the normal Cute Map/Path timeframe of 4-5 weeks to apx 2 weeks or less.

How do I order my Evening Invitations?

It's no problem for us to divide your order quantity into two different wording versions for the back/inside of your invitations. Just let us know the quantity divide in your order form (eg.x100 Standard Postcards - 70 Day/30 Eve). If you have three or more different wording versions in mind please get in touch and we'll provide you with a custom quote. If you have already completed your Cute Map design order and now wish to order Evening Invitations with your existing design, please contact us with your requirements and we'll put together a custom quote for you.

I'm in a hurry. Can I get my order sooner?

If you require a Fast Track order please ensure you have paid for the Fast Track option and fill in the order form as soon as possible. Fast Track orders involve a proof within 5 days. Following final approval your prints arrive with you within 5 days, but usually sooner. If you have a tight timeframe, get in touch and we'll see if we can achieve this for you. Generally Fast Track orders are completed within 2 weeks or less. The additional fee for this service on Cute Map/Path orders is £48.

Will I see a proof before the design is printed?

We email you a proof when we have completed your design. This can take up to 14 days (5 days for Fast Track orders). A second proof with small, reasonable amendments is free of charge. Please read 'How does an order work?' above for important notes. After any amendments are made, we will issue your final proof and following final approval we send your Cute Map to print.

Are envelopes included?

High quality textured envelopes are included free of charge with your order if required. If you're seeking a particular style envelope get in touch - if we can source these for you we will provide a custom quote for your order.

What is your Returns Policy?

I'm afraid due to the lengthy design times involved and highly personalised nature of Cute Maps, our orders are non-refundable. Please ensure you have a good look around the gallery and product pages to get an idea of what to expect from a Cute Map design. Please also read through 'How an Order Works' above to understand the order process. We're happy to answer any questions you may have before placing your order. MK Shop
Non personalised items from the MK Shop can be returned within 7 days. The customer is responsible for return postage. Please contact us before sending your return.

My invitations are a different size. Do you design in other dimensions?

It is usually possible for us to design your Cute map in your preferred size. If required, please get in touch and we can look into printing options for you.

Can you individually print our guests names on the invitations?

In order to keep our prices reasonable and competitive we leave space on your cards for your guest names to be handwritten.

Are there any restrictions to what I use my map for?

The intellectual property of every design belongs to Cute Maps. If you have ordered a Design Only map you may use and print it for your own personal use but must seek permission from us if intending to use the image for any resale, advertising or commerical purposes. I've got all the info for the Cute Map Table Plan design, but I haven't organised the guest tables yet. Can I still place my order?

Of course no problem at all. We understand that you will want to wait till closer to your wedding date to insert these. Please advise on the quantity of tables and their names at the time of placing the order. Guest names can be put onto the final proof before going to print. We recommend sending your guest names through at least 14 days before the big day to allow plenty of time for reproof with names, print and delivery.
